The Inflexion Foundation has recently announced their new commitments of £1,275,000 to four charities: Action Tutoring, Power2, Chickenshed and Kazerne Reigersbos. Power2 is a new partner and the Inflexion Foundation is renewing its funding to the other three.

The new commitments are:

• Power2 (new charity partnership) – £325,000 over three years. Power2 provides one-to-one and group mentoring for children and young people, including its Teens and Toddlers programme, in which young people become mentors and role models to children in nurseries. The grant will support the delivery of the Teens and Toddlers programme.

• Action Tutoring (renewal) – £750,000 over three years. Action Tutoring provides free small-group maths and English tutoring, delivered by trained volunteers, to pupils from low-income backgrounds. The grant will support its work to reach schools in underserved areas and a pilot of AI tutoring.

• Chickenshed (renewal) – £150,000 over 18 months. Chickenshed is an inclusive theatre charity in north London. The grant will support its Access and Partnership programme, designed to ensure that projects and activities remain accessible to a diverse range of beneficiaries.

• Kazerne Reigersbos (renewal) – £50,000 over one year. Kazerne Reigersbos (“Kazerne”) is an Amsterdam-based breeding ground established to connect its local community and serve as a hub for creatives and budding entrepreneurs. The grant will support the continued delivery of Kazerne’s strategy and further growth.

"The Foundation aims to support charities that improve the prospects of young people. We are renewing our support for three existing partners and welcoming Power2, and we look forward to following what each of them achieves with this funding."

Simon Turner, Trustee, Inflexion Foundation

"Power2 works with children and young people experiencing multiple and overlapping barriers to success. A three-year commitment from the Foundation allows us to plan our work with more certainty, and we are grateful for its support."

Julie Randles Chief Executive, Power2
