Crisis Student Response Network Joins Greater Good Charities, Strengthening Youth-Driven Social Impact

Today, Greater Good Charities announces that UK-based nonprofit, Crisis Student Response Network (CSRN), will join the global organization. CSRN is led by global students and provides pro bono consulting, research, journalism, and implementation services to nonprofits during and after global crises. The joining of the two organizations expands Greater Good Charities' capacity to deliver aid globally while strengthening their engagement with young people working in social impact.
Liz Baker, CEO of Greater Good Charities, said: "We've supported nonprofits around the world not just with resources, but with the skills and knowledge they need to grow. Welcoming CSRN allows us to expand that work, giving our local partners even deeper access to hands-on, capacity-building support – and, where it's needed most, we're able to pair that consulting with funding, so partners have both the expertise and the resources to put it into action.
"At the same time, this partnership creates a meaningful pipeline for students and young professionals to gain real-world nonprofit experience, working directly with organizations on the front lines of crisis response and community impact."
Founded in 2020, CSRN has built a global network of over 5,000 students – with 63 university branches registered, including UCLA, University of Exeter, and Hindu College. Its clients have ranged from renowned nonprofits such as UN Global Compact, Make-A-Wish, and Blood Cancer UK to local and grass roots organizations.
The partnership also sees the appointment of CSRN's former CEO, Philip Black, who joins Greater Good Charities as Senior Program Manager.
Greater Good Charities has already begun connecting its program partners with pro bono services, and outreach to CSRN's global student network is underway ahead of its next project cycle.
