Housebuilder Keepmoat raises over £15,000 for its new corporate charity partner

Keepmoat's East Midlands region has raised £15,264 as part of its first regional fundraiser for its new corporate charity partner, Magic Breakfast.
Through its work with schools across Nottingham and beyond, Magic Breakfast is the UK’s leading school breakfast charity. They make a difference to around 300,000 children and young people every day by offering breakfasts and expert advice to tackle morning hunger in schools across England and Scotland.
Spearheaded by the developers' East Midlands division, a team golf day was hosted at Morley Hayes Golf Club - bringing together more than 100 attendees across Keepmoat and its subcontractors.
Adam Sharpe, Regional Managing Director at Keepmoat, East Midlands, comments: “We’re incredibly proud to have raised such a great amount in just eight weeks of working with Magic Breakfast. At Keepmoat, we’re committed to helping children and young people across the UK access breakfast so they’re able to concentrate and learn.
“This great fundraising achievement reflects the generosity and commitment of our colleagues, subcontractors and suppliers. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make the day such a success.”
Funds were generated through ticket sales for the golf tournament, event games, raffles and an auction featuring prizes kindly donated. Through its charity partnership with Magic Breakfast, Keepmoat has pledged to raise more than £250,000 over the course of three years.
Ali Roberts, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Magic Breakfast commented:
"Magic Breakfast is delighted to be working with Keepmoat. With the incredible fundraising efforts from their team, we are able to provide breakfasts for children and young people at risk of starting their day hungry.
“A nourishing breakfast helps ensure that children and young people have the fuel they need to learn and thrive. Thank you to Keepmoat, your support is highly valued."
The housebuilder’s East Midlands division has further fundraising events planned throughout the year, while Keepmoat’s other nine regions are also working to raise funds towards the overall total.
