Parkdean Resorts, the UK’s largest holiday park operator, has announced a new partnership with children’s charity Make-A-Wish UK.

Make-A-Wish UK grants life-changing wishes to children aged 3-17 living with critical illnesses. Through the charity partnership, Parkdean Resorts will raise at least £50,000 for Make-A-Wish UK within the first 2 years, united by a shared mission to help families create happy memories. Fundraising efforts across Parkdean Resorts’ parks and central offices will span raffles, bake sales, and events, including participation in major sporting challenges such as the Great North Run.

The charity partnership will also see Parkdean Resorts donate up to £50,000 worth of seaside breaks at their holiday parks to families in need, complete with food and drink discounts and special welcome packages to help create unforgettable holiday memories.

Steve Richards, CEO at Parkdean Resorts, said: “We are delighted to announce this partnership with Make-A-Wish UK, a charity that aligns perfectly with our core mission of helping families create happy memories. Make-A-Wish UK is an incredible charity that brings joy and hope to children and families during challenging times, and working together allows us to be part of something truly transformative – whether that’s through our fundraising efforts or by gifting families the holiday of a lifetime.”

Jason Suckley, CEO of Make-A-Wish UK, commented: “Wishes have the power to cut through the gruelling reality of life for a child with a critical illness, rescuing the magic of childhood and providing a much-needed escape from ongoing treatments, endless hospital stays, and uncertainty.

“It’s thanks to partners like Parkdean Resorts, and their invaluable support that ensures more children will receive the life-changing power of a wish. The funds raised by Parkdean Resorts will help us to grant more wishes for families and provide strength during their toughest times. We’re so thankful for their support.”
