£250,000 has been raised as Aberdeen International Airport launches their search for a new charity partner
Aberdeen International Airport has officially launched its search for a new charity partner for 2026/2027.
The current charity partnership with AberNecessities will end at the end of December 2025.
Since 2022, Aberdeen International Airport has raised over £250,000 via its charity partnerships, supporting vital causes across the north-east of Scotland.
Previous charity partners have included Kayleigh’s Wee Stars, We Too! and AberNecessities who have benefited from staff-led fundraising events, passenger donations, and community initiatives.
Aberdeen International Airport is now inviting charities to apply to become their next official charity partner for 2026.
Mark Beveridge, Managing Director at Aberdeen International Airport, said: “We’re incredibly proud of the impact our charity partnerships have had over the last few years. Working with AberNecessities, Kayleigh’s Wee Stars, and We Too! has been a privilege, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support the incredible work they do.
“Looking ahead to 2026/2027, we’re excited to hear from other charities making a difference in our communities. We encourage any organisation interested in partnering with us to get in touch.”
