Paul UK raises over £13k

Paul UK raises £13,280 for The Felix Project Paul UK is happy to announce that its artisan bakeries across London have raised an overwhelming £13,280 throughout December for The Felix Project campaign, which puts the grand total raised by PAUL to a nearly £30,000 in just 2 years. 50p from over 26,650 loaves of bread sold (400g or larger) has been donated to the The Felix Project, which will be used to help distribute fresh food to children in 120 of the Capital’s most deprived schools. Continuing its support throughout the year, Paul UK has promised to donate all unsold bread to The Felix Project as well as making freshly-baked bread pudding and briochettes for the charity’s shelters and three schools which have found several of their students who are, for various reasons, unable to eat breakfast before school. Paul UK’s CEO Jean-Michel Orieux comments: “I am delighted that PAUL has managed to raise nearly £30,000 in just two years for The Felix Project. After the PAUL team visited the shelter, it was wonderful to see how many we were able to help following donations from our customers as well as our daily food donations. We’re proud to have seen how many of our customers embraced the campaign and helped us to raise such a significant sum. We will continue our commitment to explore new avenues to help this great charity and this worthy cause.” Thanking Paul UK for their ongoing support and generous donation, Daisy Fletcher, Development Manager of The Felix Project comments: “We are so thrilled to be supported by PAUL. Every day, Felix picks up surplus produce, including bread they recycle into bread pudding, then distributes it to hungry people who need it across London. But as well as these edible donations, PAUL is generous in its financial donations to us as well. The £13,280 raised over Christmas is a terrific amount, and we are so grateful.”
