Pallet-Track goes the extra mile with £88,000 boost for Midlands Air Ambulance

A West Midlands pallet network has surpassed its fundraising target, raising almost £89,000 to support the life-saving work of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Wolverhampton-based Pallet-Track set itself an initial target of £75,000 but exceeded that figure through a series of fundraising initiatives over the past three years, generating £88,959 for their charity partner.

The funds have been used to support a Critical Care Car, a vital resource that underpins the charity’s recently introduced night-time operations and helps ensure 24-hour emergency cover for patients across the region.

Building on that success, Pallet-Track has now committed to raising a further £75,000 to fund the vehicle for another three years. The pledge will take the company’s total contribution to more than £150,000 by the end of 2028.

The charity partnership was formally recognised at the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s Saving Lives Charity Ball, where Pallet-Track was presented with the organisation’s Corporate Partnership Award.

Fundraising has been driven by a wide range of activities, including the company’s annual awards gala and golf day, a hub-to-hub cycle ride, a charity casino night, volunteer days and donations through charity shops.

Colleagues and network Shareholder Members have played a central role in the effort, raising £39,064 in 2025 alone, underlining the breadth of support behind the charity partnership.

Stuart Godman, CEO of Pallet-Track, said: “We’re delighted to have eclipsed our initial £75,000 goal and to have raised more than £88,000 to keep the Critical Care Car on the road for the past three years.

“We’re so dedicated to this cause, and the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s life-saving work, that we have pledged to raise the same amount again to fund the car for another three years. This will enable the charity to bring hospital-level care directly to the scene of emergency incidents and support them with their life-saving efforts.

“Our Pallet-Track colleagues, Shareholder Members and network partners have all been hugely supportive over the years, and it was great to be recognised with the charity’s Corporate Partnership Award.

“To be shortlisted among an excellent group of companies, who all support this incredible charity, was amazing and there is no better way to round off our three years of support than by taking home this coveted title.

“A huge thank you goes out to our amazing colleagues, shareholder members and network partners who have made it possible and are up for the challenge of doing it all again to continue to fund the charity’s essential work.”

Pallet-Track, which was launched in 2004, previously had its significant contributions to the charity recognised by being named an honorary Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Flight Patron.

Jon Cottrell, senior partnership executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We’re incredibly thankful to Pallet-Track for their continued support.

“Their fundraising achievement will keep our critical care car on the road for another three years, helping us deliver lifesaving care where it’s needed most.

“In recognition of their outstanding commitment, Pallet-Track was awarded with our Corporate Partnership Award. Celebrating the dedication, initiative, and hard work of both the organisation and its employees, who have gone beyond to raise vital awareness and funds for our charity.”

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is responsible for funding and operating three air ambulances and a fleet of critical care cars across the largest air ambulance operating region in the UK.

It has had a strong presence in the area since launching in 1991, attending more than 80,000 missions. This vital service provides hospital-level care directly to the scene of an incident, giving patients the best possible chance of survival and recovery.
