Fairfields Farm Partners with Air Ambulances UK to Support Life-Saving Emergency Services
Fairfields Farm has announced a new national partnership with Air Ambulances UK in a bid to support the life-saving efforts of air ambulance charities across the country.
As part of the initiative, the family-run crisp producer has unveiled a special-edition Lightly Sea Salted crisp packet. A portion of the profits from each pack sold will be donated to help fund the critical care provided by the 21 air ambulance charities operating throughout the UK. The company has also committed to a minimum donation of £10,000.
Air ambulance services are a vital lifeline, especially in medical emergencies and hard-to-reach rural locations. Relying almost entirely on public donations, these charities are under constant financial pressure—making corporate partnerships like this one increasingly important.
Fairfields Farm has long supported its local Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, and is now extending that support nationwide through this collaboration with Air Ambulances UK. The partnership aims not only to raise funds, but also to increase awareness of the essential work carried out by air ambulance teams.
The limited-edition crisp packaging features an eye-catching illustration of an air ambulance helicopter flying over the farm's signature countryside landscape, along with information directing consumers to learn more about Air Ambulances UK and how they can help.
Robert Strathern, Co-founder of Fairfields Farm, said,
“We wanted to give back in a meaningful way to the hard-working air ambulance crews who are there when people need them most. Their services are absolutely vital—particularly in rural areas like ours. Since they rely so heavily on donations to carry out their life-saving work, we wanted to do our part to support air ambulances across the UK. We’re proud to offer a product that not only shares their story but also contributes directly to keeping their services available when people need them most.”
Rachel Breen, National Corporate Fundraising Manager at Air Ambulances UK, added,
“We’re incredibly grateful to Fairfields Farm for choosing to support our network of air ambulance charities. Their commitment will help ensure that our crews can continue to deliver lifesaving care when and where it’s needed most.”
