tmactive donates £2,500 to its chosen charity for the year

tmactive donates £2,500 to its chosen charity for the year – Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex. Over the last 12 months tmactive has been fundraising for its Charity of the Year 2018/19 Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex. On Tuesday Martin Guyton, tmactive's Chief Executive, presented Julie Clare, Head of Corporate Relations for Air Ambulance KSS with a cheque for £2,500. Employees of tmactive, voted to support the charity which provides a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service in South East England and surrounding areas. Working with both staff and customers, tmactive hosted a number of fundraising events including a Charity Golf Day at Poult Wood Golf Course, Charity Les Mills Spin Masterclass evening, Gym Challenges and a Charity Quiz Night. Customers were also able to donate their tmactive Reward Points to provide prizes for the charity to use as raffle prizes. Relying on donations and fundraising, the charity operates two aircraft to enable them to reach the most critically ill and injured people in the region. Their pilots can deliver the medical teams to any part of Kent, Surrey and Sussex within 20 minutes. Each of their medical teams has a paramedic and a doctor. Together, they can bring advanced care out of the hospital and straight to the patient – saving precious time. Last year, they helped nearly 1,500 people, with around half of those being taken to regional major trauma centres where the best possible care was available. More than 100 patients were given vital blood products, at the scene, before reaching hospital. “This is the first time we have partnered with a charity and have enjoyed getting involved in organising events to raise funds for this worthy cause,” says Martin Guyton, CEO of tmactive. “We look forward to working with the Heart of Kent Hospice, our Charity of the Year 2019/20.”
